ARTIST PRESENTATIONS
Artists share previous work, their personal journey with creating art and what they are working on in their studio space at the Residency. Presentations are around 10 minutes with a question and answer following the talk.
ARTIST OPEN HOUSE
We often host Artist Open Houses for our residents to share/sell their finished work at the MEAR. On this day, the residency is open to the public. This event offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage with the artists, see what they are creating and also purchase a piece to take home!
COMMUNITY POTLUCK DINNERS
We host communal potluck dinners at the MEAR. Our neighbors travel to the residency with their own homemade dishes to share. It gives our community a chance to meet our international artists, enriches the artists in the local culture and also gives them a chance to practice their Spanish!
