STUDIO SPACE
The Mauser EcoHouse includes a large communal studio space (20 ft x 22 ft) with solid wood carriage doors opening up to the backyard gardens. Ample natural light floods the space where artists can work collaboratively or independently.
Additional studio spaces are available on the covered veranda overlooking the lush jungle. Work tables are provided for the convenience of the artists.
Artists are free to forge, pick flowers, seeds, bark and create installations in different mediums across the house and the garden. We invite all artists in residency to explore natural materials found in the land and it´s surroundings.
Feel free to get messy, add murals to our exterior walls and much more.
Artists are responsible for providing their own art supplies and equipment. Basics can be sourced locally at hardware stores and select supplies can be ordered online from Art Depot- Costa Rica and shipped to our local post office.
