WE SUPPORT 

At the Mauser Foundation, we focus our giving to communities and organizations that provide education, scholarships, and training intent on environmental sustainability. Since 1998, the Foundation has been

self-funded. We have granted financial aid to over 25 individuals and organizations exceeding over $380,000. We have collaborated with the following organizations to provide education, scholarships, financial support and training focusing on environmental sustainability. TOM AND JUDIT WELACKY   Tom Welacky - a Field Crops Biologist, developed and managed Ferdinand F. Mauser’s land and apple orchard in Canada. Prof. Mauser and the Welacky family were lifelong friends. The Foundation donated two acres of Professor Mauser's land to Tom, a member of the Canadian Chestnut Council, and his wife Judit, to grow American Chestnut trees.

The Foundation funded genetic research equipment and lab projects which were headed by Charles E. Jackson, MD, a colleague of Prof. Mauser. One of the projects looked for possible links between environmental toxins in the work place and cancer.
