Mirador Donde Andrés
The best most authentic Costa Rican restaurant in Guapinol area. Great home cooked food by Jania and Andres, who are simply the best hosts. They offer mountain and ocean view from the restaurant. This is a great place to stop for food and drinks after tours or a working day in the residency.
Tico Art Pod
This two-story shop has a wide variety of hand-crafted items, some from local indigenous people, art, masks, ceramics, fabric items, purses, handbags, jewelry and more. The offerings are a definite step above the usual tourist trinkets, but also very affordable!

Artify Jaco
Artify Jaco is a movement to beautify the streets of Playa Jaco. Artists from all over have been selected to paint incredible, larger-than-life murals on various buildings throughout the town. You’ll see indigenous-inspired paintings, massive jungle animals, colossal waves with surfers riding them, wings of all shapes and sizes, and more.
